Where I've Roamed

Here are my top 5 favorite places I have traveled

NYC

I've been to NYC 3 or 4 times...3 I think. Each time was with a different person, and each time I still enjoyed a few of the same 'ol tourist traps, and let me say, I LOVE them. Oh, did I mention I was ON the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and got to high five him?! Take me on the harbor tour, up the Empire State Building and Top of the Rock. The double decker bus, a Broadway show, Times Square, a tour through Central Park, Juniors Cheesecake, pizza by the slice, a street vendor Gyro... I WANT IT ALL.

Texas, my Texas...

For a second I wondered where I would start, which part of Texas I'd go into telling you about first, or which city I'd brag about. However, in the middle of 2024 my teenage daughter and I took a last minute trip to Wimberley for the first time. That was in July, we'd already make our 2nd trip before the end of 2024. Really any area in the Hill Country will do when you need a break from reality, and want to enjoy the beauty that Texas offers.

Gulf Shores, AL & Pensacola, FL

I'm not a beach person really, but I just love the atmosphere of a beach town. Pensacola and Gulf Shores are just a bit over 30 minutes apart, and have the same charm and fun atmosphere without them being as touristy as Destin or other towns along 30A. I LOVED the Zoos in both places, they are small, and have several ways that you can interact with the animals there. We met sloths and giraffes at Gulf Breeze in Pensacola, and sloths and monkeys at Alabama Gulf Coast Zoos. Both also had old forts which I always find pretty neat to visit.

Alaska

For years, I was terrified of going on a cruise. But for years, I've also wanted to see Alaska. After looking into a few different options, a cruise seemed like it would be the most affordable, as well as best way to see a few different towns within a week trip. So. I did it. Booked my first cruise, in 2023, and never looked back. Alaska was so much more than I dreamed it could be, it's beauty is incomparable to any other places that I've been. We left Seattle on Discovery Princess, and stopped at Ketchikan, Skayway, Juneau and Victoria B.C., however, we stayed on the ship there. I will forever, tell every person I can to go to Alaska, ASAP.

Savannah, Charleston & ATL

In the Summer of 2016, myself and my Jr high bestie took our annual girls trip. After not really knowing too much about it, we decided on Georgia. We would fly into Atlanta, rent a car and visit the first Chick-Fil-A, as we made our way to Savannah, Charleston, then back to Atlanta. We both absolutely feel in love. The town, the scenery, the people and the food... It was one of my favorite trips that we've taken. We even caught one of the last Braves games at Turner Field!
